Gore-tex fabric is the best quality fabric of windproof, waterproof, and breathable in the world at present. These three elements are guaranteed by the thin Gore-Tex membranes which are filmed on normal fabric. There are 9 billion pores/ cm2 and diameter of pore is 20 thousand times smaller than water drip but 700 times bigger than water vapor molecule. This is why the Gore-tex membrane is waterproof and breathable. The layers of membranes which are filmed irregularly guarantee the windproof performance. The breath ability of Gore-tex®XCR® is 25% higher than normal Gore-tex® fabric, so it is widely used in garment which require super breath ability. Gore-tex® PACLITE is more durable and do not need extra lining, compared with other 3 layers Gore-tex® garment, it is 15% lighter; and compared with Gore-tex® 2 layers garment, it is more breathable.
